Dragons & Mysticism Magic Art Camp (ages 10 -13)

TWEENS, Dragons & Magic! ONLY 3 spots left!

THIS truly magical camp will open up young artists to what makes them unique while they make their creations. Inspired by popular dragons in movies, YouTube, books and tv shows they will get create watercolours, clay & cardboard sculpture, drawing, calligraphy, acrylic painting, felting & more:)

Dragons inspire feelings of magic, inclusivity, wisdom, power and kindness. And since there is really no wrong way to imagine or create them, this opens them up to an amazing array of fine art opportunities! Imagine sculptures made into useful things like art shelving or storage, 3 dimensional paintings using 6 canvases, paintings on wood paneling that include mixed media... the universe is the limit here! Mysticism goes hand in hand with these fantastical creatures and tween artists will LOVE to make things such as nature-inspired earrings, leather bracelets, dried flower vases, crystal trees and so much more. 

Important Note: Each project leads into the next and they will host a mini outdoor exhibit during the last hour of Friday's wrap up. Houskeeping Guidelines: 

Students enter the Studio through the back gate and through the back door. The Studio is located inside Miss Robin's converted basement. Shoes reside on the footwear rack and nowhere else. Students are welcome to bring and leave indoor shoes for the week as the carpeted floor can still feel chilly:)

Start time: 10:00 am

Lunch time: 12:00 - 12:30 -- lunch is taken outside when weather permits:) Otherwise we sit around my upstairs dining room table. SIDE NOTE: Please pre-pack lunches so that we all can dine at the same time :) 

End time: 4:00 pm 

Friday, July 23rd: Outdoor Mini Exhibit 3:30 - 4:00. Please stay for the full half hour showing. Refreshments will be served:)
