OVERALL BREAKDOWN:A non-refundable down payment of $50 is required to start the process.
One month notice is required to have the piece(s) completed upon your deadline.

REFERENCE PHOTOS:​ 2 changes to commission work are complimentary. Any other changes will incur $10 each time
The clearer the reference photos, the better as this saves me from having to fabricate reality. Due to the level of complexity this adds to the commission, using multiple photos to create a one drawing of all faces will also incur additional fees

Singular Animal Portrait
I adopted this little old gal from my best friend's mom who had become too immobile to properly care for her. She missed her terribly so I created this portrait for her original mom:) Pastels on suede mat
Laddie is the fouth portrait I created for the same family that Bobby, Zephyr and Dakota came from. He was a real challenge being all white with those gloriously tall ears, but his mom was brought to tears at his likeness. Pastels on suede mat
As an ambassador of Okotoks preschool education since 1971, the Teachers and the members of the Parent Board of 2012, hired me to create an updated Facebook Cover Page.

So loved, so cherished. They take up so much room in our hearts, that they deserve to be recognized properly. Their portrait will live on forever and will almost feel like they never left your side:) ​
My most favourite materials to work with are soft pastels on suede mat. Pastels have a very long life time with zero fading. There are actually drawings over 200 years old that have never faded. Some of the pastels I have are over 50 years old and they work just as good as my newer ones:)
Other options will see in this and other galleries include graphite (pencil) charcoal. pencil crayon, watercolour and acrylic paint.

Multiple Member Portraits
These two feisty ponies spent every waking moment together- sharing their pasture with Cheyanne, Peanut and Vicky. Graphite on Stipple Paper 14 x 11
This client hired me to create an Alberta image of bees, with the iconic wild rose with her family motto of "Bee" Interesting' to be hung inside their kitchen.
Losing loved ones is so heartbreaking. Even though their spirit remains when we remember them, it helps to be able to see their likenesses to feel their presence more deeply.
I love the challenge of multiple portraits. The golf couple's portrait was created by their grown children and with my permission, they had copies made to share between them. The three horses you'll see, were created using four different pictures a ton of patience! Here's a tip: The better the photos, the better for both of us!

Dianne is a registered Spring Forest practitioner and Reiki Master. She hired me to create this social media post to advertise her services.
Dr. Lara Brady hired me to illustrate her newest book on the pelvic floor and the abdominal wall for her female clients.
This blend of 2 paintings was completed by myself to make a high resolution image for her promotional neck buffs.

Janifer Calvez prints her beautiful artwork onto wearable items and this composite is actually two paintings blended into one for a neck buff for those skiing enthusiasts! Pretty cool huh? There isn't anything we can't do!

I LOVE DRAWING FACES. It's been my favourite thing to do since I was just 13! This service is for when you'd like to have a visual reminder of their unique spirit or would just prefer an original drawing over a photograph of someone you admire. It was painted on a concrete wall with false brick sections at the Okotoks Arts & Learning Campus inside the AECON Early Learning Centre. Young children have been enjoying playing and learning there since it's completion in May 2022. If you are standing close to it - you can spot the names of the youth painters that were invited to help me paint in some of the animal elements. |

It has since closed seeking new ownership and new ownership |  Sandstone Lodge Cheer Up Christmas MuralInvited by a local realtor from CIR Realty, I was invited to create this comforting and cheerful mural of six windows for local long term residents home. Due to Covid-19 they were in a lockdown and I was granted entry the day after they reopened. Restrictions insisted I had 3.5 hours at each set of the three windows!!! I've never moved so fast in my life. Later, I found out that three other businesses donated to help pay for my time and materials.
