FREE YourSELF: "Practice Makes Better"

Going back to when you really felt like you wanted to be an artist or at the very least, creative, how did you feel? Where were you? Who was with you at the time? Were you alone? Honouring your inner creative is exactly the same as what guided meditations do for you when you calm your mind. Go within. Your creative self wants to be freed. Let me help you. Today, we will get some building materials out, some lights, everyday objects, to look at and then we will ponder some quotes from famous people on creativity. 

And THEN, we will get down to what really interests you, what really inspires you, what doesn’t and what you would really LOVE to get into to practice and make better! 

Consider this, what have you tried to draw in the past, and got frustrated or took classes on to learn, but just didn’t quite ‘get’? I am not here to brag, but I have been drawing for pretty much my entire life, and art is my life – so I’ve drawn pretty much everything under the sun, in history, mythology and sfuff that’s really ‘out there’… and I’ve been teaching for over 20 years to ages 3- 86! I’ve made it my mission to help everyone I can find and harness their inner uniqueness through creative expression.

 In this fourth class, bring ANYTHING you want to draw, improve upon, attempt again or the like and I will show you my best tips on best practices to achieve success. Practice does not make perfect. Perfection is unattainable and frankly, pretty boring since it leaves NO room for innovation or discovery. Therefore, practice makes better. And while everyone can always look better, it’s always better if we feel better on the inside first before we try something new;) 

This course is fun and free for all those who attend, all supplies are provided and are meant to assist those in either rediscovering their inner artist, naturally occurring creativity or to just increase the level of fun and whimsy that can be a part of your every living moment. You will get to draw, paint and build things in each class, so come prepared to embrace PLAY through art and art education.
