Where we don't tend to shine lands squarely on affordable housing, high taxes and maybe a bit too much reliance on the neighbours to the south. Thankfully we've been sorta forced to look at that and make some pretty big changes overseas. That reliance has sent our artists over there and that's a crying shame. Fame and fortune in our amazing country isn't really a goal in our apologetic mindsets. In my opinion we artists (really all artists globally) just want recognition and respect from other industries. I suppose it doesn't matter where we live as we utilize our gifts for good, it would just feel really good to know that our country is good place for artists to thrive;)

Generally speaking, we are the professionals that everyone and everything our global cultures depend upon to build communities and communications across all borders. Without artists to cook, entertain, design clothes and software, innovate, build homes and furniture, sculpt pottery, create glassware, write history, paint and draw our perspectives there wouldn't be much human culture to speak of.
